HS 75 BB failures

I have now had three HS 75 BB low profile retract servo's fail in my H9 P-51. I am using Frank Tiano all metal retracts that are smooth as silk that require very little torque to operate. I am using a nickel Metal Hydride 6 volt battery and they are Y-harnessed together. This plane has 10 servo's altogether including others that are Y-harnessed but these are the only ones failing. I sent the first one to fail back and it was replaced (thank you). Then it failed and shortly thereafter so did the other one. There is one retract servo per retract. They were sent back and replaced (thank you, thank you) but I am reluctant to install them again until I can hear from you. I sent you a PM about 2 or 3 weeks ago but perhaps you didn't get it. Please advise your thoughts. Thanks.

RE: HS 75 BB failures

Typically if a servo is failing consistantly in a particular application there is too much load on it or there is another issue. The HS-75's have been very reliable over the years so it doesn't make sense that it wouldn't work in your application.

Mike.
