Mike ??? - pacemaker/defibrilator

Mike, I expect to have a pacemaker implanted in the next several months, and they are computer devices, was concerned about possible TX interference with the device. The radios I current own are two old Aristocraft Challenger 720's (CH 30 and CH 34) and A new Hitec Laser 6 (CH 42). Can you tell me the TX RF output power of these TX's and are you aware of any general issues visvi pacemakers? Appreciate any feedback. Tkx.
Jim

Not to make jest of your situation, BUT it would be kind of neat to be able to drop the hammer on the throttle stick and rev yourself up!:D Who'd need pills...

Mike "Hitec" Mayberry is away temporarily...

Average power output is 400mW on 72mhz systems according to the Hitec Service Department.

I've yet to hear anything about cross talk with devices as such. I'd check with the manufacturer of the pacemaker to be sure if there are any known concerns..

I have one of those, and have checked
the power output is not sufficient to affect but like a cell phone, should be kept at least 6 inches away, so no bending over the antenna and using cell on right ear in my case
keep flying it helps relaxing, and keeps you ticking

enjoy

Appreciate the feedback. I'm not looking forward to a "shocking" experience ... I do enough quivering and shaking on my own!
