Dead spot on Eclipse throttle
Mike,
I have an Eclipse 7 that I have ahd for a little under a year and was setting yet another plane on it and noticed that the top 6 or so clicks of the throttle rachet does not effect any servo movement. Just to make sure I wasn't high on CA fumes I tried: four different servos of various manufacture different receiver clearing the modle memory to make sure there was nothing in the programming adjusting EPA AND I checked the other models on the TX and they ALL exhibit the same behavior. This wouldn't have even been noticed on any of my sport planes but this happens to be one of my Pattern planes and the throttle is VERY important to me. Can you shed some light on this? The only thing I didn't do was pull out my oscilloscope and test the actual circuit in the TX. |
RE: Dead spot on Eclipse throttle
Does anyone have an idea about this?

RE: Dead spot on Eclipse throttle
Sounds like the potentiometer maybe the culprit. I would consider returning the TX to Hitec Service for a look see.
