Hitec Optic 6 Programming problems.
 

I can't tune the optic 6!
I am using a Jr R700 Reciever. The receiver is being contacted by the transmitter but the controls are not responding. e.g. I move the elevator stick and nothing happens or the rudder throttle and aileron, same thing happens nothing!!!! however when I turn the tx of the servos go wild, but when it is turned on the servos don't move back to central they just stop and don't do anything. Does anyone have any suggestions on what the problem might be.

Check the transmitter shift setting.

The Optic may be set up for Hitec receivers from the factory. JR receivers are shifted the opposite way.

It's all in the manual.

Is that in the model select if so does the screen say SFT.P or SFT.N I have it set on SFT.P which is what the manual says to have it on and it still does not work.

Do you have a Spectra module or a fixed frequency module? Verify the channel or frequency.

Has the crystal been changed, ist it the original crystal, right frequecny/channel, single or dual conversion?

Doe sthe RX work with another TX?

SFT "P" is correct for JR.

Turns out that the shop I bought tx off changed the crystal and put a Futaba crystal in it.
