Optic 6 elevon programming
 

Hi, I am having trouble getting adequate aileron throw using elevons. I went into elevon programming on my Optic 6 and set everything to +100%. Ch1 is right elevon, Ch2 is left. EPA for channels 1 and 2 are set to +125%. I get full deflection when I use the elevator - both elevons go up or down about 125%, but I only get about half the deflection using ailerons. I don't need all that elevator throw and use D/R at 50% to cut it down, but I can't figure out how to get full aileron deflection.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

<div><font size="2" face="Arial">Best to set up all models with accurate mechanical linkage and use TX system to fine tune. </font></div><div><font size="2" face="Arial">Ensure the elevon horns are parallel to hinge line and try a shorter horn position on the elevon horns or in need a longer horn on servo. At 100% EPA, measure amount of throw on elevator only then Aileron only, both should be the same, if different try a model "Reset" and start again (or use a different TXmodel number) - possible a previous or adjusted mix still in system.</font>
