7985 Servo Question
 

I am installing Hitec HS-7985MG servos in a new Aeroworks 50cc Ultimate. Each stab has a separate servo for the elevators. One of the servos hunts continuously when holding the weight of the elevator half. The servo on the other elevator doesn't hunt or even hum unless you put pressure on the elevator surface.

I have tried taking the load off entirely (holding the stab vertical) and the hunting stops. The hunting is enough that you can see the edge of the elevator moving (mind you the elevator halves are huge on this plane).

I have tried changing the dead band (using the programmer) with little change.

1) These are my first Hitec digital servos. This behaviour certainly doesn't seem right to me, particularly since one doesn't do it. Any opinion.
2) This servo and the other 6 in the plane are new. I bought them almost 1 year ago and am just getting around to installing them. Are they still in warranty?
3) What is the warranty on Hitec servos? I couldn't find this info in the literature that came with the servo.
4) I bought these servos from a dealer in Canada. Where do I send them for repair?
