Careful when tightening your gimbal springs on the A9
 

At the suggestion of our national pattern champion, Ifigured I'd tighten up my springs before going out to practice my sequences tomorrow morning, so as to maybe reduce the amount of cross-controlling etc. Two of the three springs tightened up nicely but as soon as I started to wind the aileron spring, I heard a 'crack', and that lovely sound of something rattling around inside the case. http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/js/f.../msn/tired.gif

First off, let me just say that getting this transmitter case open and closed with only two hands is a feat in itself, between the rubber bushing around the antenna post and those dang sliders. Anyway, I had to lift up the main board to retrieve the screw, spring, and adjustment post. Thankfully, nothing was broken - the spring must not have been installed over the detent on one end and 'sproing!'

Idon't know what to suggest other than if you're going to adjust the springs, don't do it just before you're about to go flying.
