Default savage Xl new engine

Hey I've decided my 5.9 has lost some power recently. So I'm looking for your experience with engines. What good engines are. Not looking to break the bank on one tho. Any insight would be appreciated.

Well do you want the baddest or the best value?

Best value, bang for the buck is the Lrp .28 or losi 454 same engine.

Fastest would be the CRE Nova. The Ercm picco.28 is pretty nasty as well. More low end but not as fast as the Nova.

Actually that's not true, the CRE nova is not faster than an ERCM picco, should I prove it

to the op, grab and LRP 28, it's a great motor, easy to tune and will toss your savage around with ease while putting a big grin on your face. Plus it's well under $200

The Novarossi 28 tunes better, runs harder then the Picco engine...........
