oh god you are doing nothing but killing your engine!
it's more powerful because at the end of a tank of fuel, lots of bubbles get into the fuel line, this equals to lean your HSN very very much.
you enjoy this while your engine suffers
stop doing this ,or you'll have a new engine soon
remember always not to run out all the fuel.when it's almost clear, stop the engine and suck the left fuel out. or you can have the engine idle unitl it burns the left fuel, but never rev to enjoy the last senconds, you can have it more in your next tank[8D]

I guess I shoud have explained it better.I would say about 1/4" or more left in the tank when I see the change and seems to be warmer to the touch.are you sure thats the tank????

as you run out of fuel, the fuel pressure drops, causing you to run leaner then with a full tank, so yeah, its the tank. It's just that you can notice it at about 1/4 tank.
