hi-speed throttle/brake servo
Venom hump-pack setup for in-truck charging
SS tuned pipe (although not in that pic)
All hardened dogbones underneath and at all wheels
Alum. hex nuts, metal brake nut, steel brake disc
Hardened cups all of the way around
primerless tank from a 25
Infinity .27
Ofna clutch bell
Aluminum 3-shoe Mugen clutch
Motor Saver Filter

If this is stock what kind of Sav you have? One built from scratch by hand??

cool finaly sombody which live up north. It ain't alot of people on this forum from northern europe. So you got a savage too or what? i love mine, when it works though. Have had a lot of problems mainly because of the pullstart but now i got the picco 26 and the roto start so i enjoy every sec. when i am bashing in a rock-quarry not far from me. Any good places in Sweden or what, by the way where in sweden do you live north, south or what? i love about 30km south from oslo.

what are the advantages of a primerless tank? i thought a tank with a primer woudl amke things easier since my freind has a evader st and it is primerless and he hates it beacuse he either has to blow the fuel through the line to the engine or do as the book says. he wishes he had a primer on it.

The thing with the primer is that the fuel has to go through a "pump" or a smaler piece of pipe before it gets out into the fuel line. Now, with a bi engine .25+ the "resistance in the primer is too big so the engine does not get enough fuel, ergo does not go as great as it would with a normal tank. The Sav 25 tank also has a rear pickup that feeds the engine with fuel even in steep hils og fast accelerations. The way a get fuel through the line, when my truck has been standing still for a while, is that i put my finger in front og the pipe outlet and eighter pull the cord a couple of times og use the rotostart for 1-2 sec.

Well the bb in my monster gt has a primer and it gets all the fuel it needs until the tank goes dry. It doesn't have any of the half tank leaning issues like my savages do, even with the new tanks they still do it.

ah i wish i new that a lil earlier because i just ordered a new primer tank from towerhobbies since i cracked the original. curious-would this primer make the engine go lean since not enough fuel is getting to the engine?

I don't think it will run lean but be careful to watch your temp. I had mach .26 engine and it ran fine but i was told when i bought a new one that it would have run better with a non-primer tank

I always thought this hobby was about having a reliable truck that is fun to race or bash, my mistake.

Of course its cool to have a good looking truck like his but i still think the most important thing about monster trucks is the engine and car handling. Thats why atleast i spend my money on engine upgrades and things that can improve my car at the track rather than using it on alu. parts
