Truck stalls when i hit the brakes!!
I have a Savage SS w/.25 it idles and runs but when I put the brakes on it stalls at idle and in motion anyone have any ideas??

just like he said, adjust the idle where it just barely engages the clutch, or not at all.\
ive had this problem a few times before.

If you get the alu clutch you can have a higher rpm cause it comes with two spring sets, normal and hard. With a alu clutch it doesn't matter if its engaging a little either. However if you still run the stock with teflon shoes make sure it's not engaging cause it will wear out the clutch shoes in no time. The way i did it before i got the alu was to put my truck somewhere the wheels could spin freely in the air. i then set my radio to idle and started turning the screw until the wheels started to spin. i then turned a little back. to make sure the clutch ain't engaging at that time you can try turning the CB the opposite way of the engine rotating. if it spins easily, it's OK
