Default savage aluminum fuel tank??

ok so iv had my savage for a little over a month now. i drive it hard and often. i have gone through about 6 fuel tanks. after i broke the first two i bought an aluminum guard for it, seemed to work for a while. then i put the shock bolt through one, so i turned it around as i seen other people had done. now even with the guard on i am somehow cracking them on the chassis. i was contemplating getting the golden horizons aluminum tank. does anybody have any experience with it? im tired of spending $14 every week on a new fuel tank. i did read one review that said it leans out the flow alot?

I like the throttle pivot point. Where did you get it from?

Here is what I posted on 2/28/05: http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_26...tm.htm#2711208
Look at post 18. Havent broke a tank yet and it's been almost 3 months now. Very cheap fix.
