Hi all

I need some opinions on what body and colour would look nice on this truck...........

So give me your ideas both good and bad...........

well since you have purple alloy parts i say u do a metallic purple fading into black or silver siver will make it pop

Hard to see, but Red shock socks, too! I can't seem to find red fuel line, though.

i just painted a GMC Sierra LP and i wouldn't recommend it because i had to do a lot of cutting to make it fit

I just don’t know what body and colour to use...............seen so many pics and I still carnt decide what and which will look best.

I like both the stock body and also the Caddy Escalade Ext Body. The escalade has to be pearl white, though.

My choice for a shelf queen would be the 69 Charger body with the monster motor sticking up out of the hood - In Green, of course...or plum crazy purple.

This is a genesis 1/8th body. Proline has others now released. This was the Crowd Pleaser 2.0. I would recommend looking at 1/8th scale bodies for the additional room under it and looks good on the truck. All are clear so color is open to your liking.

Hi Richie,
I looked at this post last night and gave it some thought. First off, your savage is sweet[8D]. With the big tires and the cage, you probably want to go with an MT body, There it comes down to what brand of automobile you like. Then it is style..SUV, Pickup, Stadium or an hpi MT muscle car body (If it would fit.) I have two of the Atomik "Flame" bodies (same body) I'd go with the one you pictured. The wheelbase is the same as the factory body. It comes with a lexan windows insert, a trim sanding stick and a very nice decal set with both factory ford and a custom billet grille. I took a few pics for you to see that body on a savage, it is setting a little off-kilter because I haven't cut out the engine head hole yet. But you get the idea They are pretty thick too prolly .060 lexan.. Post pics when your done with it!

I agree. If the purple one was an option when I bought the flame body, I would have bought that one for my savage. It looks sweet, and would look very nice on Richies savage. Richie if you read this, what tires are on your savage? I have been looking for some good bashing tires and those look like good ones.

I would ditch the wheels he has though and get some of these: http://www.rcxshop.com/advanced_sear...ords=ton+wheel

If you go to '3racing.com.hk' you can get any color of those wheels pre-mounted to that tire.

I bought the the red wheels and some moabs and they look awesome.
The black ones would look really nice too.

Go to http://3racing.com.hk to see what's available. RCXShop doesn't carry all the colors.


BTW, If you think the purple jagged stripes body is trick, you must pay me $5 for showing it to you.

As Rep99099 posted.............those are the tyres from 3racing and 5spoke alloy rims..............very good for the mud but not to good for dusty tracks.

I have red and silver shock socks as well, with a red body and red wheels.
I too cannot find any red fuel line that is actually red. Just stuff that is more orange or pink.

I need to post some pics of my savvy's, but I am awaiting the arrival of 2 new chassis' and some other stuff to give them a little bling.
