Hump Pack Question
Hey guys I have a Savage .25 and I really want a hump pack. The only problem is, is that I am scared that it will not fit. The battery compartment is really tight and it is a porject for me to change the batteries. I am worried about charging the hump pack because I really dont want to have to take it out everytime and stuff. What kind of stuff do I need to mod to use a hump pack? Do I have to take it out everytime to charge it? Is it worth the time/money? Is there any mod that I can do so that I can charge it with the cover on?
Thank you for your answers!

RE: Hump Pack Question
I have the HPI 1200mah hump pack.
I wired in a conenctor from a peak charger onto it and cut a hoel in the radio box and let it hang out so i can charge the pack without having to open the radio box.
I cut a half circle in the front of the radio box jsut big enough for the wires to fit through and ran the wires through the shock tower and capped it with another connector to keep dirt and stuff out.
Another option is to get a switch harness.
Here are some shots of what my setup looks like.

RE: Hump Pack Question
I was looking at a few of your other posts, and it looks like you may end up getting a few high powered servos for your Savvy. I'd get the Orion 1400Mah Hump pack. http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...4&I=LXJRB1&P=K
Since these batts are rechargeable you'll need a switch with 3 leads so that you can charge it with out having to take it out of the box.

I like things nice and need so I used an Ernst Charge Receptacle on mu truck. Here is a pic of it installed in my radio box.
