Default Is this wheelie any good?

I modded my wheelie bar as the original position still allowed the car to flip easily without riding the wheelie. I have yet to assemble the savage back together and put it to the test. If it works the fine, otherwise I'm not too concerned as the original position was nothing special.

Well i have the same wheelie bar and i have the smallest wheel (comes with 2) and my car doesnt flip. And it sure as hell wont with the bigger wheel either. I doubt that mod will work, i can imagine it stopping the car from wheelying all together.

I think the whole point of a wheelie bar is to make it "think" proof. if you can stop the wheelie from making the car flip, why have the bar? otherwise have a bar that stops the wheelie from flipping the car?

You never know, it might work out great for general bashing. HPI plastic is some tough stuff. Let us know how it treats you.

While my HPI wheelie bar is fun, it's not great for what I wanted a wheelie bar for. I wanted something that would at least slow the flipping down and give me a chance to correct my driving if I got too happy with the trigger. It works great for showing off and riding big wheelies all the way down the street though... I'm still using mine simply because it's the only one I've seen that's not constantly getting damaged. It's certainly better than no wheelie bar at all.

Lol. Mine tries to flip from takeoff with the small wheel on. The bigger one stops flipping all together tho.

I did the same thing with my wheelie bar, and it works just as good as it did before.
