30 minute ramp VIDEOS (PICS) UPDATED
Hello everyone!
I had a buddy call me up with plans on comin over today for some bashing....I got started on a quick ramp.
I spent about 30 minutes on it I know its not perfect or even pretty,but I think it should hold up for some good jumps.
The bucket of water was to help warp the plywood to a slight curve,also included pics of my tools used.
may have to post 2 times cuz of picture size.
I plan to get more pics and even video later on today...
stay tuned....
Added a couple more with the painted sides...again its not perfect in any way whatsoever..I eyeballed all of it.lol

Well my buddy didnt make it today...so I couldnt take video.
I'll talk my wife into doin it for me tomorrow.

That was one of the reasons I posted pics from start to end.
Its easy to do ,and may get some others to make ramps too.

Nicely done! [sm=thumbs_up.gif][sm=thumbs_up.gif] With all the building going on around my subdivision, I could get all the materials for free! Then of course, build my own and really WOW the kids in the neighborhood. [X(]

The only thing I went to buy was paint.The rest was all just extra stuff layin around the garage.

Here is what I believe to be the final product of my 30 minute ramp.
Took longer to paint it, then it did to build it.
Taking awhile to upload...RCU must be slow....I'll have to upload more later.

When I set that ramp there,I started to think the same thing!
I'll be sure to get video when that attempt takes place.
I've hit that ramp kinda hard...just at the start of 3rd gear..maybe 25-30 mph,I think I can clear the height but not the distance. I'd land somewhere up top.

Not the best videos by any means..the file size was to large to upload..I'll work on making it smaller so I can upload longer videos.

No those are not my kids...lol....The lean issue you hear is the result of the upside down time the truck has been through..temp was a cool 245*f.

i suggest using that thin wood you use for skate ramps. i had a piece laying around(not big enough for a jump) and thought it would be easy to bend
