Default Engine Help

Hi, i have a savage 25 ss...... today after finally getting it running i was doing some tuning, stopped for a while and when i started again couldnt get it to go... it runs for 8--15 seconds and dies..... ive read about this before but cant find the threads.... whats wrong? also, when it was running, it would struggle with shifting into 2nd... sometimes it would even die.. is this just because its not tuned yet?

My first guess would be tuning is off put back to factory settings and retune.
Good luck.

Start from the factory settings and retune. It sounds as though it's too rich, but it could be too lean as well. No real way of knowing for sure as we can't see it or hear it. If it seemed sluggish on take off when it wouldn't go into second I would venture to say that it's too rich.

Should be in the manual or on HPI web site under instructions.
