engine mount brace.

Default engine mount brace.

re building my savage and i noticed one of my engine mount bracees were bent, anyone hed the same problem thanks

also anyone know if savege 25 chassis fit 4.6 rtr's. thanks

Sounds like one too many landings on the head...that'll hurt the engine mount and/or braces, not an uncommon problem. The X-style head protector helps somewhat to protect from smashing the engine into the ground and tweaking the engine plate.

I don't understand the second question though...

the s25 chassis will fit the rtr 4.6 ive done it personaly i dont like the x tvp's

Be sure to check the mounting plate too, they are prone to cracking and you will not be able to feed it spur gears fast enough. BB

All parts from a new Savage model will work on a older Savage model and vice versa. I've yet to find a factory HPI part that didn't. The Savage is like a small block Chevy........................
