first off, its called a search button, second, what do you think people are going to say in a hpi forum...and third, well, get a savage because the t-maxx is a POS

LOL...I dont think you'll find anyone sane that would tell you a T-Maxx is anywhere near as tough as any Savage, let alone the XL.

This is comming from someone that owned a T-Maxx. Still owns a Revo. And owns the XL. If i had to choose any 1 of the following than i would choose the XL hands down. It's a bigger & more powerful truck. It's worth the extra $$.... It also jumps much better than any Traxxas vehicle. It's a lot easier to work on too.

Wow. T-maxx or Savage XL.
Should I buy a Kia Rio or a Ferrari F430? fuel economy, insurance, and maintenance costs are no problem, I just want a more fun car!

I would say get anything but the savage. I got the savage for my first one now everytime I get a new one I compair it to the savage and find how much money I wasted.. If you start with something else you will enjoy it and then someday move up to the best. So get a T-maxx and have fun...

thats right MT, why on earth would you go buy something that everyone here is telling you to buy? he really needs to find out for himself! buy a T-Maxx, spend as much money fixiing it in the first year you have as you did to buy it originally and then, and only then buy a Savage.... let us know how it goes....

i skipped the last 10 posts so if i sound dumb bear with me the savage duuuuuhhh, way better than a t-maxx the guys who have $2500 revo 3.3 with full upgrades everywhere, rpm arms and such were suprised at the durabiltiy of my savage and i only brokedown cuz my oil was too thick and i didn't have time to change it before going, now 1 broken and 1 bent shaft later i'm set, so all and all get a savage can take anything, and if you want you body to last with the nessarary cut outs for the rollbar ride it as low as possible or not at all, go savage

My wife has yet to break my E-Savage & Savage XL.
A couple of years ago i let my wife drive my Revo. In less than 20 seconds she broke it..
