My Savage went for a swim !!!!!!!!!!!
Well I got invited to go run with some guy's at our local comm, collage on Sunday. And i had a blast. I did have one very bad wreck. I was running throught a ditch with some culverts . And the big cement culert had some water in it that i didn't relize was as deep as it was. My 25 SS jumped a side walk and flipped right in side of the big cement culvert and in about 1 1/2 foot of water upside down still running. The only thing you could see was the bottom of all four tires sticking out of the water.
after i pulled the truck for the water i pulled the power plug on the reciver and took off the water soaked air filter to find that the engine was full of water as well. Itook it home and tore the motor apart and cleaned it and dumped a ton of after run oil on its parts.
I am unsure of the servos and recivier condition yet. As i was going to wait and let them dry out before i tested them.
My question is is there anygood way to dry out the sevro's and reciviers?

I submerged one, pulled the battery right away and tore the engine down. I left the truck upside down with a fan blowing on it. It was a Tower Terror, so no transmission issues. The electronics came back with no glitches. The engine was still dry inside, that surprised me, I guess the air filter was resistant enough for me to get there before the engine filled up. Anyway, I felt lucky to get out of it for free.

Nice work man, good for you. I think I'd smack myself if my truck ran into a larger body of water[&:]. I'm happy you got it fixed, I hope the engine works fine man[8D]. Thinking of water, I still havent water proofed my truck[&:]. Its been long overdue for an RTV treatment and Outerwears filter cover[:@].
