Default Engine dies at low RPM.

My truck (Savage X 4.6) dies everytime I let off of full throttle or when the RPMs get back close to idle. My idle is set right - wheels just barely don't spin when held off ground, although I can't test it now. The hsn is set good and I think the low speed is set good too. I have tried 3 new plugs. I don't have any fuel leaking from anywhere.

Also, I had been tinkering with the low speed. I set it to flush and have slowly leaned it. I am unable to find a spot where it will keep running. And I am using new fuel.

Any ideas?

I have done that, several times. The problem is I still can't get to run at low speed. How do I know if its time to throw in the towel and try a new carb? Maybe I should try the engine seal fix.?.

Check The Clutch
Check the Glow Plug
Check the fuel lines
If they are all OK, Try Richen the Low speed out slowly...
Also, Have a watch of this...

Has the mid range needle wound itself to a new position?

The SS model has the Mid range needle. If you have the f4.6 it does not have the Mid range needle. But both have a 4.6, just depends on if it is a K or an F that you have. SS vs RTR respectivel.

well I have been doind a rebuild and a little porting. Maybe the olf thich fuel I cleaned out of it will help. I magine it will run like crazy once I put it back in the monster.

I'll let you know how it turns out.
