Default Savage transport

Hey guys im 14 and I got my Savage a few days ago. But im having troubles carrying it to my local bash spots. I could drive it up but thats a waste of fuel and my dad cant drive me anywhere because he is working.

What do you guys think is a good way i could transport my Savage.

Thanks,
Damian

Get a bike, and put one of those girly-baskets on the front handle bars, load your Savage and gear in, and hit the town!

I just thought of something:

Are you too young to get a liscense to ride a motorcycle in Australia? If not, why not save up and buy yourself a used motorcycle and rig up like a rear seat mounted basket to tote your Savage and RC gear in?

I am pretty sure you can look and find a used motorcycle somewhere in Australia for like $500 AUD, which really is less than a brand new Savage XL!

your savage will barely fit if its not XL spec whith wise in this bag duratrax XL deluxe if you take off the tires

it seems they have discontinued the one that fits the X and now have this one
http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXFJT3&P=7
i'd search around and try and find the X one, its a great bag to have i love it

We had a member that was hauling his around in his back in a bicycle. He even hauled a camera and posted some great videos. Seems like he had a harness and let the tires ride down his back and carried everything else in a back pack. I have seen them being pulled in wagons. One of those little kid trailers behind a bicycle would work great too. I have been thinking about a three wheeled bicycle, the old folks style with the basket behind the rider. I am getting kind of old myself... Glen

ohhh i've also been tempted to canibalize a back pack and get some velcro straps in it, i can fit my evader with 2.2 truck tires in my bag just fine, (and people thought i was bringing homework to a friends house)

No chance of fitting my Savage in any of my backpacks even with the wheels removed... I just don't go anywhere myself with the truck, mostly cause there aren't any great spots here. Usually my bro drives me, but I get my license at the end of April so its not a problem anymore.

I dunno, if you don't mind looking funny towing a little cart behind your bike with your gear in it then I guess thats the best option without using a motor vehicle. Of course you can take the cool way and buy one of those expensive carrying cases. The best I've seen so far is a guy use an old suitcase, seemed perfect[8D]

I already have a motocross bike that i ride on a track (Honda CR85), but it is illegal for someone under 16 to ride a motorbike on the streets.[:@]

well then you'll just have to stick to the sidewalks and edge of road

the suitcase sounds like a good idea also check out wingtote, they have some good bags from what i've heard

I would stick to the sidewalks but that is illegal aswell, if the cops catch me or someone rings the cops then it probably $600 fine. The laws a crazy in Australia, no fireworks, bb guns, powerful lazers!![:@]

I will ne 54 in September... a granny style three wheeler would be perfect for an old geezer like me... Maybe I can figure out a way to harness two of these white sheoherds of mine and have them drag a cart with RC junk and myself in it to the park.... it would be my luck Bud would see a rabbit or squirrel and my ride would get exciting.

LOL!

Speaking of kids bringing in their RCs on kidie wagons, why not rig up a Savage to pull the wagon? Now that would be fun! A ridable RC!

Cant you lie?

J/K, dont do that. I am digging Bud's dag pulled rig really, Dogs are rather efficient and actually cheaper on fuel costs to tote yourself and your Savage to the bashing spot!

I cant imagine my dog trying to pull my savage, because my dog is a toy poodle and she weighs 2.5 kg, thats less than a Savage.

I work at a bike shop part time to pay for my non R/C hobby...This would work perfect for you. It sits over the rear tire you can put gear on either side and set the truck on top of the center support...Check a local bike shop or ebay as well.

Some cargo straps and a Savage would be secured good on that basket; plus you can carry like 2gal of nitro as well!
Just dont get rear ended with all that fuel in the basket!

Hit up a yard or garage sale and look for a old kid's wagon..you know, the red Radio Flyer type or similar. They are dirt cheap and are great "transporters' for your truck and gear. I use my daughter's Big Red Wagon to haul my truck to bashing sites that are within walking distance of my house. Works great.
