WELL.... I RUINED MY CUDA BODY ALREADY! LOL
Uh yeah sorry Tom that you didnt get to see it looking perfect but I got a little bored with just on road speed passes and decided to see how it jumps...... um.....well it certainly jumps. So well that I did a back flip without trying too hard mid air but landed on the lid on the pavement. I was PISSED. I was done for the day at that point lol. BUT... I guess the bright side if there is one is that I'll be doing a new body.....
Any color suggestions for a new Cuda? I was thinking replacing the Black top with a Dark dark metallic blue and doing the same 2 tone with an ice metallic blue on the bottom. Maybe black and Lime green? Metallic orange? Anodized purple? Let me know what you think.
Oh yeah, Pics when I get home from easter brunch with my wife's family... I took em but didnt upload them. Wouldnt have been so bad if the body pins didnt massacre the body...I'm kidding myself the roof has deep deep scratches lol.

I'll take the old Cuda off your hands if you want to dispose of her properly- many of you here already know what kind of body I run[&:] LOL... A metallic orange with a black side stripe would be sick[>:]
Ah thats a shame, just hit me up if you want to go run in Brooklyn this week[8D]
Edit- HAHA Bud, I just read your post now and we were thinking the exact same thing! Great minds think alike, go for classic Cuda!

Plum purple (what ever that color was called from factory for the CUDA!) with metallic black racing stripes

If anyone knows of a different body that is low slung and more aerodynamic (if you truly understand how it works .. lift vs DF etc. coeficient etc.) while still looking like a Savage and not like a Kyosho high roller...let me know.

I already did Plum crazy purple...... check my cuda body thread. I have another shade of metallic purple that is actually nicer then the first. Its a little lighter with more pop. TBJ, if I'm doing another Cuda, it's gonna be mod-rod, not a vintage clone. I love the real thing in original form, but for the Savy I want something a little arrogant just because I can

The TA was a Challenger.......not a Cuda, but they're both E bodies, so I guess you aren't to be banished by the Mopar fanatics just yet.

Putting T/A stripes on a Cuda (and vice versa) would be oh so wrong. LOL. I love those little 6 Pack 340s the AARs and T/As came with..........alot better than the Chevy 350s of the same era. A friend of mine owns a 69 Dart GTS with a mild 340/4spd and it runs pretty good-very light cars.[8D]

I would say that if the motor was that big then he was just off in his years. The T/A came with a whomping 455 from 1971 and ended in 1976. TBJ is correct however as the largest motors available after 1976 (which litterally means 1977) were the 200hp Pontiac 400 or T/A 6.6 as some might know it or the 185hp Olsmobile built 403. The engines were the same in 1978 and the only difference was there were more special editions to include a "Sky Bird" and a "Red Bird".[link=http://www.edmunds.com/pontiac/firebird/history.html]This information can be located here.[/link]
Back to car color, I think this is the car you need to duplicate
