Where to buy an LRP spec 3 .28
Ithink Ihave descided after much reading through this forum to get myself an LRP .28 Spec 3 for my Savage SS. Losi parts house has it for $168.00 shipped to my door Ithink tower is around $175 with shipping and a main hobbies is about the same. Any body know of any other sources where I should look before I go ahead and purchase the motor? Iam going to call my LHS in the morning to see if they have one in stock and for how much, but I'm doubting they will have one.

Did you check eBay? They might have it on there for cheaper than at the hobby shop. I bought mine there and it was not in bad shape and it was brand new just as promised.

Right now they have a 25 dollar off coupon for purchases over 199 dollars. If you are a member, shipping is free over 150. So order up some fuel line, a couple of glow plugs and a new clutch for your new engine and get it for 139 shipped... That's almost Axial 28 price....

towerhobbies is where I got mine. Free shipping over $150. Got mine relatively fast and it's a well known company vs ebay. Personally, I've never had a bad deal on ebay, but I've heard several people on here who had. I checked out the prices on ebay and they are all about the same. $160ish.

If you cant find an LRP spec 3 .28, than the Nosram RS.28 evo is an awesome choice...It's The exact same engine...
just different badges...

I wanted the Nosram 30 really badly... but it would have cost me about 40 dollars more to get that pretty redhead. I agree though, I would love to have one.

i have no problem with people going to e-bay (just be carefull) or online places hey got to get the deals where you can, but i believe you should support your lhs when possible first mho.....
