RE: Pics of my First Body
An excellent job. Having painted a few bodies myself, I know it to be difficult, however you seemed to have no trouble.
I had so much bleeding under the window masks, that I finally painted the windows black!
"Dey won't lets me paint, cuz I puts me brush all da way to da bottom of da can, even wen it's full !"

Looks great, even if it is a Ford...
Nothing against Fords...
I always liked the Chevy designs, but the new Fords are a much better looking pickup than the new Chevies... in my opinion...
What was Dodge thinking this year????

Thats a really nice paint job. My first one turned out good, however i only used one color (black; to replecate my dads truck). I didnt have a problem with my window masks... just wash the body good and make sure the masks are down good.

Paint bleeding sucks!!! sometimes you can use a q-tip to wash off the bleeding. I have found that heavy coats of paint tend to lift the masking tape-window masks. Use real light coats to start once you have a good base you can go heavier. Also go over your masks between coats with your finger and keep them stuck down. I've learned this over the past 5,6...7 bodies LMAO..
Nice job on the ford though.. Is that dragon on the hood a vinyl mask?

RE: Pics of my First Body
no it was a print out then i trimed the print out and held it under the body and traced it then spayed 3 coats of spaz stix gold/orange/purple/red spray paint (its a color changer, changes from all those colors depending on how you look at it) then backed it with black so it would pop out more, thats the part that took the longest.

I just did some stencil work on a couple bodies for my brother and my crawler. Not very good pics but it'll do i guess. Don't mean to hyjack at all. Just showing that I know how long it can take
