Who makes those aluminum shocks? They don''t look like the HPI ones. Man those you had though sure suck big time.

lmfao.. This video should be sticked to show people what happens with almost ALL aluminum upgrade shocks-

Integy
Golden Horizons
Team Blue Star
Hot Racing
HPI stock Aluminum Shock replacements
And the rest of the no name brands.

The same thing will happen to all of those ^^

Check my truck out, I'm running Fullforce R/C 10mm thick towers with XTM shocks, they've been on for over 7 gallons and take extreme punishment- I got a set of 4 for $15 shipped... Best investment I ever made.

saw a guy last year broufhr his savage in to the LHS he broke 3 integy's, and bent 2 more from a 4 foot jump off a portable skate board ramp in a parking lot...
The clerk said "Don't buy Integy crap unless you are sitting on a shelf or in a display case" really loudly to him. Guy asked why they sold it clerks reply was "its for the people that want a pretty looking truck that is completely useless."

well, i have had my savage almost a year now and i only put the alloy shocks on at Christmas but they have taken way more punishment than my old standard shocks did, after one jumping session most of the standard shocks had cracked or bent but since then i have been back to the same place and the alloy ones have come back again and again.

as well as being smoother these shocks also seem less soft than the standard ones but i cannot compare really because i bought my savage ss 4.6 second hand and the shocks looked really tired then. also they do look pretty killer next to a silver chassis and heatsink combo!
