picco help

Well after typing a super long post telling you all about by rebuild of my xl, I went to post and it timed me out or something, so I'm frustrated and not going through it again. Anyways, my picco .28 is leaking fuel out of the front bearing and leaning out....where can I get new bearings, and what is the procedure? Thanks for the help. Mark

Nitrohouse. Put the bare engine block in the oven at about 250 for about 10 minutes, then tap the block on a wood surface to get them out. Cleanthe blockreal good prior to putting it in the oven or it will stink! Maybe try some Lucky seven engine sealant after the fact. It 'wicks" into the smallest crevices, like your carb, where metal meets plastic. It fixed my 21 max and made it worth keeping. How bad is the bearing leak?

Oh MY GOD it happened agaian! UHHGG. It runs fine for around five minutes and then really gets lean and bogging down. The shaft the clutchflywheel is on will move in and out about a 16th of an inch...kind of clicks in and out???

Here is a great video, it will walk you through the procedure. I wouldn't run it anymore if the bearings are that loose.

Wow...great video. Piece of cake. I'll get a new set ordered and on the way. I've had a brand new 5.9 pullstart still in the box waiting for me to do something with it, but cant make up my mind. Maybe it will get sent to supertib someday. Thanks for the help guys. Mark
