diff problem

what happens on my savage in the front differentials is the diff casing spins freely from the other big gear on the shaft.(sry i dont know the treal name lol) is this the problem you encounter when its time for the spider mod? if nbot whats wrong with it?

If you mean the gears inside the diff case then yes time for the mod,If you mean the big gear attached to the diff case then it might just be the screws are missing or stripped that hold everything together..
