Savage 25 or Savage SS

I am interested in buying a Savage. I was wondering if the Savage SS is better than the Savage 25. Where can I buy a Savage the cheapest? Thanks.

Does the Savage SS have more power? How much more does it cost then the Savage 25?

The Savage 25 rtr is ready to run out of the box only batterys, fuel and run in are required. The SS is a kit version of the 25 with a different exhuast which is what makes it faster. The SS has a pull starter and the 25 is roto-start equipped. The SS stands for Super Sport and is designed for more advanced R/c members who already have radio gear as the SS does not include radio gear, it is conciderably cheaper than the RTR. If you are new to r/c, i would suggest gettin the 25 as the difference in perfomance is nothing major and can easily be brought up to the same as the SS with about £30 ($54) of mods.

Hope this helps

Thanks for your input. Do you need to buy servos for the SS? How many?

yes, you need a radio, with a standard servo, for throttle, and a high tork for steering. If you want reverse you need a 3 chanel radio, along with an extra servo.
