I'd agree with that. I do it once a year unless things go wrong.

I have seen it posted here somewhere, but I myself to not know. If there is a hobby shop close to you, give them a call and see if they have them. They should be pretty cheap.

You need 8mm I.D. shims for the pinion gear.

Thank you !!! My LHS guys are not very helpful. I pretty much just need too know what I need and then buy it. They either dont know the little things about the savage or just dont care to share there knowledge. Im not too sure witch it is but it stinks. There is only one real HS in town and it seems like they dont give customer service cause they dont have any competition. Wish I had the $$$ to open my own lhs I could make a killing w/ good service!!!

The LHS hear is going out of business do to the poor service they offered. With so much availability on line shops better look out. The only thing I got from them was fuel and now I am going to have to order it. I have been told there is a new shop opening and they are going to have a track. Just have to wait and see but I sure hope so. Hope they are better then the last one. :D

as far as diffs go, is the front set-up like the rear? is the a 4 bevel gear set and diff housing different than the rear

RE: 2 diff ???

The front and rear diffs are the same. Many people add different weight lube front and rear though
