How long has the XL been coming?
I was just browsing the Hpi site as I thought I was messing around on Hpi Euro a while back and ran into a XL kit coming out soon. I would prefer to do a kit over the XL RTR, but we all know how that goes. Anyway, I noticed in the photos on this [link=http://www.hpiracing.com/kitinfo/10515/]page[/link] that they are showing the XL axles and bones on an XL chassis with the old style uprights. They even give you a really close up photo! It makes me wonder how long they have been developing this truck and what else they are keeping under wraps. [8D] Not that I blame them.... BB

I need to get a brushless truck to run inside, I doubt that will be a Savage though. There is no disputing the power and speed of the new electrics, but they will never have the smoke trails and noise I love. [8D] Nothing like a finely tuned enginescreaming along.... BB

I just saw this thread right now. Look at the thread i made "Check it out". Read through the posts and ull understand whats going on. Its just dumbass HPI doing something retarded and posting pics of the old uprights on the truck. They did the same thing with the Savage X 4.6 which actually uses the same uprights as the XL.
