Michaelvg11, I love AFPD. My LHS has FS1 and I've flown both planes and heli's on it and I don't think it's as good as AFPD. My dad has G3 and again, AFPD is better. I use my Futaba Skysport 6 it and I've never had a single problem. I have heard that it's a pain to get a DX6 or 7 to work one FS1, there is a way to do it but it takes time. Another thing is that I have a ton of planes downloaded to AFPD for FREE. I don't know of any free planes for FS1 and there are very few for G3. Just my thoughts.
God Bless!

Curious, what happened to the additional posts that were on this thread including the ones I left? Are we not aloud to tell someone that we favor one sim over another?

They are nice planes but do they have the flight characteristics as the real RC Plane...
I also fly the Microsoft FSX simulator and they flight just like the actual scale plane..
Just curious... I am a AFPD Newbie.

Yup, that video works. If you practise daily on AFPD, you'll be a 3D monster in a few months. Here's a link to 3D video lessons recorded using AFPD http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_4459958/tm.htm I hope you find it helpful
