I have got Aerofly Pro Delux and I pluged a normal game pad in and it said it was looking for a usb controller or something if I got the Dummy Game Commander (USB) with SIMCOM FLIGHT SIM CABLE would that work?

You need the original interface that comes with AFPD and that's not available separately, so I'm afraid you've been done pretty bad[:o].
