Trouble Installing Models to AFPD
 

Has anyone had any problems installing models to AFPD? When I first got the program about a year ago, it was no problem. In the last few months some models install and some do not. I use the AFPD installer and some the the executable installer and still not installed. It shows up in the aircraft directory but does not show up in the list. Scenery installs perfect all the time. Am I doing something wrong? Any help would be appreciated. I have not changed any hardware since last year. Intel 2.0 Ghz, 512 meg mem, Nivadia with 256 meg mem, 27 " LCD monitor.

Hi,

do you have the Add On for the AFPD? Most of the new models are built for the AFPD with Add On.

If you don't have the Add On, please edit the TMD-file of the model that does not work and have a look to the version-number. For editing the tmd-file you should use WORDPAD.

If you now change the version number from 1.9.0 to 1.8.0 it should work!

Im having the same problem. Im trying to edit the version from 1.9.0 to 1.8.0 but it is already 1.8.0 on all the planes. What do i do now? still not working.

Its version 1.8.0.9 (2004/11/05) . but whats that got to do with installation?
