Using AFP Serial Dongle With AFPD

Does anyone know if the original AFP dongle works with the new Deluxe program? Someone is selling their AFPD on Ebay but they have lost the USB cable. I want to use my existing AFP dongle. Any actual experiences out there?

Sorry, AFPD uses a usb dongle, the afp dongle will not work with afpd.
