Engine thrust & CG questions
Two questions in the aircraft editor:
1st how do you add engine up thrust....the editor only allows down thrust? 2nd in the CG editor there are 3 boxes with values when you access the fuse area....what are they for and how are they used.....i'm not able to find any info in the manual. Thanks...tried the search function already This is for AFP............. |
RE: Engine thrust & CG questions
Matus, you can set an engine up thrust by simply using a negative value for the
engine down thrust, eg -2 deg gives 2 degrees of up thrust. The three values in the cg editor are the cg position with respect to an arbitary reference point. The first value moves the cg forward (positive values) and backwards (negative values), the second to the left (+) and right (-) and the third value up(+) and down (-). I would advise you save the new settings under a new model name so that you have a backup of the original model. Hope this helps |

Hope this helps Thanks Mike.....i'll give those a try....for some reason i was thinking that the program did not accept the (-) and dropped it when i attempted to save.......also i had what apperared to be a heavy wing, tried to add weight to the opposite side and that did not work so i'll try the L/R CG move to see if that works.....are these things in a new/revised manul somewhere? Thanks. |
