Helis do not work in AFPD
 

I just got a new computer last month.
AMD 3300 2.01GH with 512 ram
ATI X1600 graphics card
Enough HP for AFPD . AFPD Helis worked fine on my last computer with simular computer with the same card.
Problem : all the planes work fine. But the all the helis spool up and the computer crashes.
This happens just as I spool up the helis.
EVERY TIME . FPS are good 80 to 120

Any suggestions where to start ?

Fred, ensure that your graphics card acceleration is at 100%.

If you're using onboard sound, set the directx sound hardware acceleration to 0%.

Also check that you have the latest video card driver and AFPD patch installed
