AFPD addon activation
 

I was impressed with the full scale AFPD add on which I flew at the AMA show. I was disappointed when I found out that it had to be activated. Has anyone had any experience with this. My concerns are
1) how many activations are you allowed
2) do you lose your activation when you image restore your operating system
3) Can you upgrade or change computers or do you have to buy again the add on again?

1) how many activations are you allowed

unlimited, as far as you always use the SAME cable

2) do you lose your activation when you image restore your operating system

no, if afpd is installed on another partition.
if afpd is on same partition, all you have to do is copy the
license file.

3) Can you upgrade or change computers or do you have to buy again the addon again?

yes, you can upgrade computers.
all you have to do is reactivation or copy the saved license file.
