Game Commander Replacement
 

Hi Mike, I have had problems with original AFPD game commander like veering to left when all trims are ok, and calibration erratic. Got a replacement but it shows a different serial number when plugged in, asks for Addon 3 serial number and activation. Does not seem logical that serial should change. The box says IK3034001 Game Commander Only.

1) Is this a replacement for original order IK1002? ( AFPD with Game Commander)

2) Where does the serial number come from? Is it the AFPD software or the commander?

3) When I first had problems, I was sent a commander with a fighter plane decal which did not try to change the serial number (It had other problems) but was a plug and go. The replacements have a 747 decal as does the original.

Hi riverrrun, every Game Commander or Interface Cable has a different serial number. When you change your Game Commander or Interface Cable, you will need to reactivate your Addon3 by writing in to Ikarus. Pls PM me your new serial number, the Addon3 disc activation code, and your email address. I'll arrange for a new license file for you. When you receive the new license file, delete the old license file in your AFPD directory and put in the new one there.
