I am considering the Air Wild Giles 202 for my gas IMAC plane. Anyone who has one and flown one, what are your thoughts of the plane?
What engine did you use?
What is the weight of the plane?
How does it do the IMAC sequences?
Thanks

Roger Phillips did a full report on this plane including video of me flying it. It's at [link=http://www.rcuniverse.com/magazine/article_display.cfm?article_id=115]Giles Review[/link].
His plane was a bit over propped, but still had good vertical performance. Should be a good tool for Baxic through Intermediate classes, and is capable of Advanced and Unlimited manuevers.
What engine are you considering?

Look on the DOD site, there might still be a vid of Joe McBride flying this plane.
P.S.
The link posted above was to a Wild Hare Giles, not an Airwild Giles.

Here is a video link from the Airwild site.

This represents video from my first two flights with the plane. I thought it flew very light on its wings for 3D and tracked well for precision.
It is a quite large plane for its weight and has awesome verticle with any of the 100 sized motors.
There isn't a 3D manuever it can't do and I'd say it can handle the Unlimited sequence with relavtive ease.
Good luck,
Joe
