Brand new IMAC member, brand new plane!

Howdy all!
I'm a new IMAC guy looking to compete in 2016 in Basic! I have flown for many years, took a 20yr break whilst flying full scale, and have returned to have fun again. I decided to get myself a new airframe for competing and chose the Pilot Edge 540 25%. I am using a DLE35RA for power and canister exhaust to tone it down (one of the reasons I chose Pilot Brand airframe). Radio is Futaba a T10JA controller using S Bus technology and top shelf electronics. Here's some pics (please excuse the junk in my basement):

Welcome back to the hobby. Your Location says Colorado. You'll want to keep an eye on the IMAC Southwest Region calendar.
http://www.mini-iac.org/Regions/Southwest-Region
Colorado usually hosts three or four contests per year. You can email the Regional Director ([email protected]) to get in contact with Mike Hurley. Mike's the Assistant for Colorado and could give you some early insight into when and where the contests are being planned for 2016.
The Colorado pilots often come down for the January (Superstition Challenge) and March (Cactus Classic) contests in Arizona. They take a little vacation, enjoy some great weather, and have some fun flying for the weekend.
When the Colorado pilots come down to Arizona in the winter we return the favor and support a Colorado contest in the summer time.
Have fun with the new plane!!

Thank you so much! I believe Mike is actually a member of my flying club. I know we are hosting the Lamar Steen Invitational again in 2016, no dates yet though. I actually was in Phoenix just this past weekend checking out fields and shops! Nice area!

East Valley Aviators in Phoenix is the active IMAC club. If you're there any weekend there will be IMAC pilots all morning.
Hope to see you at a contest next year. Here's my plane.

It has my name on it so I'll be easy to find.
