I live in Minnesota and would like to start competing in IMAC and/or pattern this summer. I am only beginning and have been pretty disappointed in that I find very little regarding where to competeon the internet. Are there any contests in Minnesota or western Wisconsin? Anywhere you can direct me to find out info regarding this would be appreciated. I don't have tons of dough so traveling to far away is out of the question. Thanks for the help, Jeff

Jeff,
I fly a bit of pattern and competed in the Anoka pattern contest last June. I’m sure they will be having another pattern contest on June 11th this year. The club also hosts a couple of IMAC contests – one in July and one later in the summer. Good group of guys as I didn’t know anybody there yet they welcomed me like one of the members (competitions have a tendency to do that).
I fly at the Wright Flyers Club (I’m the President) out of Monticello and live in Buffalo and am the only one in the club into pattern. I am always looking for someone to practice pattern with and if your interested let me know. You can fly at our field as a guest and if you like it join the club!
Scott.
