Which plane for a Moki 210?

I don't like gassers much but would like to try Basic using a Moki. Any ideas?

Just about any Extra or Edge in the 80" 13lb to 14 lb range. An Extra or Edge seem to handle a little better then some of the other designs IMO. If you could find one of the old Dave Patrick Extra 330 ARF that would be a good example. The Midwest Extra is a good option too. I'm sure there are some of the new breed imports available too.

Thanks. I had a 80 in Cap 232 with the Moki in but that plane had so many mixes to get it to fly somewhat straight it made it very difficult to fly. I hate planes like that.

depending on the airplane slight mixes can be required, excessive mixes is a good indication of poor CG setting or an airplane that is not built straight.

It wasn't straight.

All good recommendations. I flew a GP Patty Wagstaff 300 with a 2.10 for years. It was closer to 16 lbs.

That's the set up I would love to have.

That is a great plane, pun not intended. I've acquired a couple more since my original met it's demise. Gas, glow, either works in this plane.
