RE: LOOKING FOR DALOTEL PLANS

smith629,

Check with Dick Hansen - I have seen several of the Dalotel planes that he makes and they are beautiful airplanes! He may have plans that he would be willing to sell. I don't know the exact wingspan of the plane, but if I remember correctly they were running ZDZ 80's, so they are quite big.

RE: LOOKING FOR DALOTEL PLANS

Thanks for your responce,Dick Hanson has a web site with no mention of plans are kits. I think maybe he dosnt care to sell his plans or kits. Surely someone must have a set of dalotel plans? I had one back in the 80s and it was one of the greatest airplanes i ever had,Or thats the way i remember it. Sometime memories are better then reality! Anyway if anyone including Dick Hanson has plans or a kit please let me know. Thanks Randy W. [sm=sunsmiley.gif][sm=sunsmiley.gif][email protected]

RE: LOOKING FOR DALOTEL PLANS

Dick doesn't use "plans", he builds his planes from rough outlines he draws on a building board. The Dalotel is a great plane, it is one of the few IMAC planes that will actually fly like a pattern plane.

That said, there IS a beautiful Hanson Dalotel for sale in the For Sale section, under Pattern Planes.

I went to the BUY/SELL section and ran the word Dalotel under the search, and nothing came up. I probably did it wrong. Any help finding this plane would be appreciated. Randy W.

Maybe not at large as you would like but there is one at 67" span: D&L Designs

Maybe you could scale it up as a last resort.
