RE: Split Elevator Trimming
I dont want to use an equalizer so Im going to have to get as close as possible using the radio..I adjusted my pushrods a little bit and got within 2 degrees..I used a few clicks of subtrim though but Its better than before..

RE: Split Elevator Trimming
If you guys are worried about the equalizer or matchbox being another point of failure - DONT! They are bullet proof. I use them on the largest and most expensive planes and have never heard of even one failure from anyone. If you want true symmetry it really is the only way to get it. If you don't mind differentials then keep going the path of 2 channels.
It makes life extremely easy as well. You will be done with the whole issue literally in 5 minutes AND the setup will still work if you change transmitters. DP |
RE: Split Elevator Trimming
Nothing is bullet proof. I lost a 42% because of a bad Matchbox. I have heard of others having problems with the Equalizer but not as much as the Matchbox. I have many Equalizers in use and will continue to use them over the other.
