Dave Patrick Ultimate for IMAC?
I'm thinking about giving IMAC a try this year. I have a Dave Patrick Ultimate that I only have three flights on so far. Is there anyone out there that has had any luck using this plane in IMAC?
I have my CG at 1 3/8" off the leading edge of the rear cabane. The recommended range is from 1/2- 1 1/2". Can anyone help me with the best cg for flying IMAC?. Also.....I'm a complete newbie at IMAC. I've been doing a lot of reading of rules and trimming on there site. But if anybody has any input on using this plane . I certainly would appreciate any help!!!!! Thanks Shaun |
RE: Dave Patrick Ultimate for IMAC?
Hey Shaun, I've heard good things about the DP Ultimate. I live just up 35 from you, in Davis, OK. I'm considering giving IMAC a try next season, too. Think I am going with the DP Extra 330L or something along that line.

RE: Dave Patrick Ultimate for IMAC?
Hey llf,
It's good to hear from someone close. If you getting in to IMAC like I then be sure to come down to our field to watch the regionals October 22&23. http://www.mini-iac.com/EditModule.a...er&ItemId=1544 I think the Ultimate will be ok. It hasn't been trimmed out with any mixes. I would like to hear from someone that has flown one in IMAC though. |

I'll be there. I was planning on coming down for the event you guys had on Labor day weekend, but had to do the family thing. Definitely will be there for the regionals, though.
