2006 Basic video

Hey guys,

I uploaded a video I put together to try and show what the basic sequence or manuevors look like. It's hard to fly all tens when shooting a little video so don't use this vid as "THE RULEBOOK". Just trying to help some people starting out.

Hope you enjoy,

Glad ya'll are enjoying the video. That's why I post em. We have about five members in our club that are going to compete this year in basic. I might have the sportsman version done by the end of the week so keeping checking the site.

I'll be able to show the sequence but I might have to fly a stick plane instead of a real one. LOL.

Any progress on the sportsman video
Hey Steve,

I'm downloading it now and haven't seen it yet, but the Flying Cirkus has posted a video of Eric Powell, 2005 Tucson Shootout Sportsman Class Champion, flying the 2006 Sportsman sequence.

Good luck with your 2006 contest season!!

Craig,

You did a fantastic job. Something like this should be on the IMAC website. This is a great video to demo IMAC to new pilots.

Great site, thanks Dean
It's a VERY new site. More content will continue to be added. I just downloaded and watched the Torque Roll video. Too funny!! I'm sure the Mexico video is crazy too. I haven't downloaded that one yet.

It looks like they have plans for a lot of scale aerobatics oriented videos. It should be some great information.

For all the new pilots, there is a Flying Cirkus forum dedicated to being competitive in scale aerobatics.

The forum isn't even a month old, but a lot of great information has already been posted. A new topic will be posted each Friday and we're just getting started!!

I hope you all get great weather and "perfect practice" this weekend!!

Take care,

Dean Bird
