Stall turns
When I do a stall turn my airplane won't easily turn to the left. It hesitates and I have to really kick in throttle. To the right it's great. What's the cause of this condition? Help.

RE: Stall turns
Could be lots of things.......
one wing heavier than the other. rudder throw more on one side than the other wind direction motor speed |
RE: Stall turns
Could it be engine thrust?

RE: Stall turns
which plane and which setup??

RE: Stall turns
Doctor, doctor, it hurts when I do this!!
Then don't do that!! Do your pivot to the right if that works the best |
RE: Stall turns
It can be all of the above. Most importantly you must leave a few clicks of throtle in to give you good prop wash to have the rudder authoriy to do a good stall turn. pull to vert draw line ease off the throtle slowly till the plane almost stops at this point you must have a little power on to get it to pivot nicely on the cg, hit full rudder hold it in a little so you don't pengullum and that's all to it. Make sure to draw a strait downline.
