Power Box or not?

Hello.
At what size, (Plane, engine, number of servos etc.) is it advisable to use a power box, rather than running everything through the receiver?

it is personal preference...

I fly a 40%er and do not use one and haven't found anyone that can truly justify it.....
2 batteries, 2Rx's

I would have used it on smaller planes if the price was not so prohibitive - just for the sake of having better organized electronics.

I use SmartFly equipment instead - does the job for somewhat less money. A combination PowerReg, Ignition cutoff and Power Expander covers quite everything needed.
