Just Starting to learn, need some help.

I am just starting to learn (practice) some basic IMAC. I'm having some trouble finding explanations for some real basic stuff like what different symbols mean and how something like the Basic Sequence is flown. So here are a couple of starter questions.

1. Can someone give me a link to a site that will answer the first part of my question: i.e., symbol explanation.

2. What does it mean on a Sequence Chart when a dashed line connects some of the maneuvers and not others; i.e., #2 to #3, but not #3 to #4, etc.

thanks.

Hello,

You can find all this information in the IMAC Flying and Judging Guide, a PDF you can download at:

http://www.mini-iac.com/pages/rules/...dgingGuide.pdf

You can print it out for better review.

Welcome to the world of IMAC, Good Luck!

Erich

Thanks maverick. that is just what I was looking for.

I still have not been able to find out why some maneuvers on a sequence chart are connected with a dashed line, and some are not. Somebody must know.

Splais,

The dashed line indicates a negatively loaded maneuver. If the line is horizontal, this means that you are inverted between the two maneuvers. If it is in a loop, it is an outside loop.

Welcome to the fun and challenging world of precision aerobatics. Have fun.

A dashed line BETWEEN maneuvers is just to aid in following the flow of the sequence as you read it, and does not change how you will fly it.

DUH...!

Good point, Baron. I think I probably mis-understood his question!
